The first Pacific Game was held in 1963 in Suva, Fiji. For the XV Pacific Games which took place on the 4th to 18th July 2015, Papua New Guinea again taking its stand in history being the only country hosting the event for the third time (1969, 1991 and 2015).
Showing support to the event, Bewani Oil Palm Plantations Limited participated and welcomed the delegates from Port Moresby for the kick-off session of the Baton Relay in our project area, IMBIO plantations in West Sepik Province.
Our Imbio & Sumomini Managers carried the Baton with gusto while other BOPPL staffs and the landowners ran to the finish line with the delegates.
As the participants from Papua New Guinea completed all 28 disciplines, Bewani Oil Palm Plantations Limited wished them spirit of unity amongst their thousand tribes; bring together the many diverse cultures and cheers under one voice.
